Aesthetics Essex Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and at our clinic at 4 Penerley Road, Rainham, Essex, RM13 9HD. We handle your data in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Contact details — name, email address, phone number.
• Enquiry and booking details — treatments of interest, preferred dates and messages you send.
• Health information — medical history, medications, allergies, consultation notes, consent forms and treatment photographs, collected at consultation so we can treat you safely.
• Payment records — what you paid and when. We do not store card numbers.

• To respond to enquiries and arrange appointments.
• To assess suitability and deliver safe, effective treatment.
• To provide aftercare and follow-up reviews.
• To meet our legal, insurance and professional record-keeping obligations.

We rely on contract (to provide treatment you have booked), legitimate interests (to respond to enquiries) and legal obligation (record keeping).

Health information is special category data. We process it for the purposes of providing health care and with your explicit consent, given on your consultation form.

We never sell your data or use it for third-party marketing. We only share it with trusted service providers who help us run the clinic (such as secure hosting and email), with your GP or emergency services where clinically necessary, or where required by law. All providers are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.

Before and after photographs form part of your clinical record. We will only use them on our website or social media with your separate, written consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Enquiries that do not lead to treatment are deleted within 12 months. Clinical records are kept for at least 8 years after your last treatment, in line with professional guidance, and then securely destroyed.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, stored on access-controlled systems and only available to staff who need it to care for you.

You have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• request deletion, where we are not legally required to keep it;
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• withdraw consent at any time;
• receive your data in a portable format.
